Shin Dong from the 13-member singing and entertainment group Super Junior recently gave an update on how the band is doing after the car accident, which took place on April 19th.
The group’s manager and 4 of its members, including Shin Dong, suffered from injuries from the accident. Shin Dong received only minor injuries and resumed work a week after the accident, but Kyu-hyun and Lee Teuk suffered from serious injuries.
Shin Dong describes the time after the accident as scary and depressing. In a recent interview, he said that he worried for the safety of his fellow-members and for the future of the group. Fortunately, the injured parties are doing well. Kyu-hyun is off his respirator and has greatly recovered.
However, he added that the members involved in the accident are still deeply affected by it. Lee Teuk is said to suffer from nightmares of the accident and Shin Dong and Eun-hyuk feel pain in their injured joints whenever it rains. However, Shin Dong feels they are lucky that their injuries weren’t more serious.
The group has comforted and supported each other during this difficult time and Shin Dong feels that the group has gotten closer because of the incident.
Shin Dong is currently hosting a music video show on a local cable television channel and looks forward to performing with his fellow Super Junior members soon. |
