The Renewal of Korea Party’s Story |
Former Yuhan-Kimberly CEO Moon Kook-hyun said at The Renewal of Korea Party's launch ceremony that the party was created by people knowledgeable about the economy and the latest global trends who seek to create a nation built on excellence. He voiced confident that a large number of politicians would join and raise the new party's approval rating to 20 percent. He was also quick to deny rumors that the party was hastily created solely for the 2007 presidential election, saying that it was seeking to emerge as a major force in next year’s general elections.
Moon had said in a recent news conference that the party aims to secure half of the parliamentary seats available in the next general elections. |
