Park Chan-wook's 'The Handmaiden' Wins Best Foreign Film at BAFTA

South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook's erotic thriller "The Handmaiden" won the best foreign language film award at the 71st British Academy Film Awards on Sunday. 

The Korean movie was selected as the winner at the Royal Albert Hall in London among five nominees including "Elle" by Paul Verhoeven and "First They Killed my Father" by Angelina Jolie.

"The Handmaiden" is set in 1930s Korea and Japan and is a story about an aristocratic lady who inherits huge wealth and the people eyeing her fortune.
