Free Clinic for Foreigners Increase Dental Service

A free clinic for underprivileged foreigners in Seoul has increased its dental service to three days a week from its current one.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said on Monday that Southwest Seoul Global Center will now provide its dental treatment service on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 p.m. to nine p.m., as well as Sundays from two p.m. to five p.m.

Currently, foreigners have to wait for more than one month after an appointment to get the service.

Foreigners aged over ten without health insurance in South Korea are entitled to the dental service from the center, including tooth extraction and root canal treatment.

Translation services are also available for foreigners who can’t communicate in Korean.
