'Artist Blacklist Also Existed during Lee Myung-bak Administration'

The South Korean spy agency's reform committee has found that there was an unofficial "blacklist" of artists and cultural figures during the Lee Myung-bak administration from the years 2008 to 2013.

According to the National Intelligence Service committee's investigative findings released Monday, there were some 82 people listed across the cultural arts, film, broadcast and music industries.

Singer Yoon Do-hyun and comedian Kim Mi-hwa were among those named as critical of the then-president Lee and, and as a result, had to step down from their broadcast programs.
