Two more people infected with H1N1 influenza have died.
The government’s flu task force said Tuesday that a 71-year-old man who had contracted the flu died on October 31st, while a 48-year-old male flu patient died one day later.
The 71-year-old victim was also a cancer patient and was thus deemed highly susceptible to the new flu.
The 48-year-old, however, was confirmed to be free of chronic illnesses when he fell prey to the virus.
The two deaths have brought the H1N1-related death toll to 42 in the nation.
