NK's Hacking Attempt

A government official says North Korea has attempted to hack information on South Korea’s water supply and drainage systems.

The official said Wednesday that a government investigation has traced the hacking job to a server in North Korea and that it may have been part of an attempt to disrupt the G20 summit in Seoul next month.

Another government official said an investigation has also been launched into the unauthorized abandoning of a Chinese tour group by multiple members of the group on Jeju Island earlier in the week and whether the case is linked to terrorism.
