Chosun Sinbo: "S. Korea Must Show Intent For Improved Inter-Korean Relations"

A pro North Korea newspaper has criticized President Park Geun-hye and her confidants for showing hostility to the North, saying the chance for reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula through inter-Korean talks could be squandered.
The Chosun Sinbo made the criticism in an online article published on Friday. Mentioning the high level military talks on Oct. 15, it said the South’s callous behavior is against the spirit of the agreements reached during the recent visit by senior Pyongyang officials to Incheon.
The paper also questioned whether there could be any meaningful dialogue to improve relations between the Koreas even if a second round of high-level talks takes place.
It said South Korea needs to show a clear desire to improve relations with the North before Pyongyang decides that it would be a waste of time to hold another meeting filled with empty words.
Meanwhile, North Korea's state media has yet to respond to comments from the South Korean government that the North distorted the truth in its claims of what was discussed at the high-level military talks.
