North Korean Premier Choe Yong-rim, who is heading a delegation currently visiting China's northeastern region, met with a top Chinese official on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations.
The meeting with Zhang Dejiang, China's vice premier of the state council, took place Wednesday in Changchun, Jilin Province.
During the talks, Choe praised China's economic and social development and said that Pyongyang hopes to learn from Chinese experience and strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation.
The Chinese official said Beijing will pursue measures that boost bilateral cooperation and contribute to regional peace, stability and development.
The North Korean delegation visited the Chinese city of Harbin on Monday and met with the secretary of the Communist Party's Heilongjiang provincial committee.
