Over 335 Dead After Earthquake in Iran-Iraq Border Area

A seven-point-three magnitude earthquake in the Middle East jolted the Iran-Iraq border region on Sunday afternoon, killing at least 335 people.
 
According to Iranian media at least four-thousand people were injured and some 70-thousand need shelter after the quake, one of the most powerful this year.
 
Sunday's quake hit close to Halabjah in the semi-autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq, but almost all of the fatalities have been reported in Iran.
