Hawaii to Conduct Nuclear Evacuation Drill in December

The U.S state of Hawaii will conduct an evacuation drill on December first to prepare for a possible North Korean nuclear or missile attack.
Hawaiian authorities plan to sound the nuclear attack warning siren on December first around the state for the first time in more than three decades.
Local media reported that the state's one-point-four million residents will restart monthly drills of "duck and cover," a practice that has been on hold for decades.
Charles Anthony, a spokesman for the Hawaii Department of Defense said that right now the U.S. considers the threat to be very unlikely, but if North Korea uses an intercontinental ballistic missile, it only takes about 20 minutes from launch to impact in Hawaii.
The Hawaii state government earlier posted on its Web site evacuation guidelines for residents to prepare for North Korean nuclear and missile threats.
