S. Korea Urges North to Stop Provocative Acts

The government has demanded that the North stop provocative acts following Pyongyang’s claim to have already developed nuclear warheads small enough to be mounted atop a missile.
Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Kim Min-seok said Wednesday that the North's ballistic missile technology development is a threat as well as a provocation, urging Pyongyang to stop immediately.
He added that both the North's nuclear weapons development and its recent test-firing of a submarine-launched ballistic missile are clear violations of UN Security Council resolutions.
The North's National Defense Commission said in a statement Wednesday that its “nuclear striking means have entered the stage of producing smaller nukes and diversifying them.”
