Seoul to Hold Anti-Terror Talks with China Monday

South Korea and China will hold their sixth anti-terrorism consultation meeting in Guangzhou, China on Monday.

The two sides will assess terror-related situations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and discuss bilateral cooperation in addressing foreign terrorists and violent extremism.

Seoul and Beijing will also discuss intelligence sharing and boosting networks between Korean and Chinese agencies.

The talks will be headed by Seoul's Foreign Ministry ambassador on international security and Beijing's Foreign Ministry director on overseas security.

South Korea has held anti-terrorism talks with Japan, the U.S., China and Russia, respectively, since 2005 to deal with global terror threats and protect South Koreans abroad.
