Rival Parties Agree to Hold Extraordinary Assembly Session in March

Four ruling and opposition parties have agreed to hold an extraordinary parliamentary session next month.

The vice floor leaders of the ruling Liberty Korea Party, main opposition Democratic Party and the minor opposition People’s Party and Bareun Party on Tuesday agreed to hold a 30-day extraordinary assembly session from March third to April first.

The parties also agreed to hold plenary sessions on March 28th and 30th, with two days, March 16th and 17th, set aside for interpellation sessions to question Cabinet ministers on government policies.
