Moon Calls for Tougher Measures on Voyeuristic Hidden Camera Crimes

President Moon Jae-in has called for the introduction of special measures to deter crimes committed with hidden cameras.
 
The president gave the order during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, stressing the need to strengthen the punishment of offenders committing crimes with hidden cameras and better protect the victims.
 
He said that women are forced to feel more concerned about their safety in everyday life due to a rise in crimes using hidden cameras.
 
In detail, the president proposed to strengthen the regulation on the distribution of voyeuristic photos and videos and to slap fines on such distributors.
