Korean Air Heiress Denies Allegations

Former senior vice president of Korean Air, Cho Hyun-min, who returned home early Wednesday after 15 hours of questioning by police, denied all allegations against her, including assault and forcible obstruction of business.

According to the Gangseo Police Station in Seoul, Cho testified that she didn't throw a drink in a paper cup at business associates, but merely pushed the cup and the drink splashed on the victims.

She also rejected charges that she threw a glass cup at people, instead saying that she threw the cup at a wall where there was no one.

Cho has been accused of throwing a glass cup and then a plum drink in a paper cup at participants during a meeting with a marketing firm in March, after flying into a tantrum over the firm manager’s inability to answer her questions.

Police are mulling requesting an arrest warrant.
