Olympic gold medalist Kim Yu-na has won the silver at the World Figure Skating Championships in Turin, Italy, after receiving the highest score in the free skating event.
Kim finished a shockingly low seventh in the short program Friday, but earned 130.49 points in the free skating event for a combined score of 190.79. She fell on a triple salchow and missed a double axel at the end of the program, however.
Fellow Korean Kwak Min-jung finished 22nd with a score of 120.47.
Mao Asada of Japan took the gold with a score of 197.58.
