가볼게요. (I’ll go)

가다 – v. to go, to move from one place to another, to leave
-(으)ㄹ게요 – (informal addressee-raising) future tense meaning “I will”

Casual – 가볼게
Semi-polite – 가볼게요
Polite – 가보겠습니다

>> [가볼게요] or the “verb + (으)ㄹ게요” pattern is used for the future tense and can only be used with the first person.

>>”verb + (으)ㄹ게요” not only is a future tense, but it expresses the speaker’s will, commitment or promise which is why the pattern is used when there is a listener.

>>this pattern can only be used as a statement and cannot be used as a question.
