1. Anchor/Copy-Editor

This full-time job mainly consists of copy-editing, research and anchoring news segments and/or shows for KBS WORLD Radio. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Copy-editing news, segment scripts

Researching current and historical events to ensure accuracy in reporting

Anchoring daily news program

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and have strong time-management skills s/he can apply independently and industriously. S/he will be a sharp and driven native English speaker with impeccable knowledge of prose, grammar and composition. S/he must be equipped with a versatile on-air radio voice and personality.

What we offer:

A salary of approximately 40,000,000 KRW per year including severance pay plus additional benefits that include a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment, 15 paid vacation days, a 500,000 KRW resettlement allowance and round-trip airfare (if relocating to South Korea from another country).

Details of Employment:

40+ hours a week(Mon~Fri), Occasional weekends and holidays. Renewable one-year contract beginning February 2019. Exact starting date negotiable.

Visa:

KBS WORLD Radio will sponsor a work visa for a highly qualified candidate. The candidate may be responsible for some associated fees.

Copy-editing scripts, voice-overs for daily and weekly programs

Writing and presenting segments for daily and weekly programs

Booking guests for various segments

Engaging with listeners through social media, email, etc

Assist news team and others with various tasks as requested
