South Korean animation "Underdog" has been invited to the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.

The film is the first Korean animation that has been invited to compete at the festival. 

"Underdog" is about homeless and abandoned dogs. It opened the 22nd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival last year and won the best animation award at the Silk Road International Film Festival in China.
