SG Wannabe, Kim Jong-kuk, Hweesung win Golden Disc Awards
Male vocal group SG Wannabe, make solo singers Kim Jong-kuk and Hweesung were announced as the winners of the Top 10 Artist Golden Disc Award. SG Wannabe also won the Grand Prix of the music awards that marked the 20th year this year. The awarding ceremony was held on December 7th at the Sejong Center for Performing Arts located in central Seoul. This year, SG Wannabe produced several big hits, such as “As I Live” and “Crime and Punishment,” and its second album containing those songs recorded sales of 400,000 copies. Plus, the group has established an extensive fan base that includes people of various age groups - from teenagers to people in their 40s. Other winners of the Top-10 Artist Golden Disc Award were M (Lee Min-woo), MC Mong, Buzz, Shin Hye-sung, Cho Sung-mo, G.O.D. and Koyote.
