K-pop girl group Blackpink has become the world's No. 1 artist in terms of number of subscribers on YouTube. 

According to the band’s label, YG Entertainment, their YouTube channel recorded more than 65.2 million subscribers as of Friday afternoon, dethroning Justin Bieber for the top spot.

YG said Blackpink member Lisa’s latest solo debut album has contributed to the increase in the number of subscribers.
