Fall/Winter 2017’s Top Fashion Trends for Women
Fall is in the air and it’s time for a style update. To help you up your fashion IQ in time for the new season ahead, today I’m going to introduce Fall/Winter 2017’s top fashion trends for women.

*Red
As we talked about last week, red is the “it” color of the season and is topping the trend charts at the moment. To update your style, wear the hue from head-to-toe and create an exceptionally stylish look that gets you noticed everywhere. In addition, a red coat is a fun way to incorporate this trend. Add a bright neon red trench coat to your fall wardrobe now and stay on trend!

*Chocolate Brown
Another it color of the season is brown. This season, designers are preoccupied with everything brown and the chocolatey hue will be the new black for Fall/Winter 2017. You can finally wear those fall staples in brown hues that have been sitting in the back of your closet and look like a fashionista!

*Mid-length Skirts
Step aside minis and maxis—it’s officially time for midis to shine. With a strong nod to the 70’s trends, the midi skirt is back with a vengeance for Fall/Winter 2017. Hitting below the knees and resting between the high calf and the lower calf, this season’s midi skirts are extremely elegant and feminine. For a date out on the town, swap your everyday mini skirt for a beautiful full lace midi skirt in a stunning nude hue and look like a ballerina!

* 70’s Plaids & Checks
70’s-inspired plaids and checks are a welcome blast from the past. Designers are gravitating towards bright plaids at the moment—and thus this season’s plaids are not like the typical 90’s grunge styles. Ditch the classic black and white chromatic combo and instead go for a mix of vibrant hues such as yellows, reds, greens, and blues.

*Couch Florals
Florals will continue to trend through Fall/Winter 2017. One of the biggest trends to wear at the moment is to wear couch florals. The trend is all about wearing vintage-inspired floral prints, ones you might see on a vintage couch or a curtain. Instead of dainty blooms such as daisies and roses, opt for bigger sized florals and put together a stylish outfit. Keep up with the 70’s trends this fall with a bold couch floral print dress featuring long sleeves and a round neckline. Complete the look with a pair of heels and a tote bag—and you have a lovely outfit.

Play with these trends and stay beautiful!
