Rafina Raimatulla, Representative of Talk To Me

2017-07-01

According to the Ministry of Justice, the number of foreigners living in South Korea has exceeded 2 million in 2016, accounting for 4 percent of the nation’s total population—and in recent years, Korea has also seen an increase in the number of expat volunteer organizations that serve the community in various capacities.

This week, our guest is Rafina Raimatulla, Representative of the Gangneung Branch of Talk To Me, a volunteer group made of married immigrant women in Korea. We will speak to Rafina about what Talk To Me has been doing to help enhance the spirit of multiculturalism and diversity in our society.
