In January, it was announced that pianist Choi Hie-yon, currently a professor at Seoul National University, would join the piano faculty at The Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University in the US.  She has led a distinguished career as a soloist and chamber musician, but has also taught a new generation of students who went on to win major competitions.  Professor Choi joins this week’s Touch Base in Seoul to share her story.
