2nd Rescue Group Begins Operations in Haiti

A second group of Korean rescue and relief workers has launched operations in the quake-ravaged Haiti.

Relief workers sent by the Korean government will begin work to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in a temporary village located between the Haitian presidential palace and the French Embassy in Port-au-Prince.

A group of 18 doctors sent by the National Medical Center and the Korean Foundation for International Healthcare will set up a temporary clinic to provide medical treatment for quake victims.
