Obama Stresses Importance of Trade with S.Korea

U.S. President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union address on Wednesday, local time, that the U.S. will strengthen trade relations with South Korea.

Although he did not specifically mention the ratification of the free trade agreement between South Korea and the U.S., he stressed the need to increase export markets in order to create jobs.

Obama said that if America sits on the sidelines while other nations sign trade deals, it will lose the chance to create jobs on its shores.
