'Korea, China, Japan Competing on Brazil Rail Bid'

A Brazilian daily says South Korea, China and Japan are competing over a bid to build a high speed railway in Brazil.

The Folha de S.Paulo newspaper says the three Asian countries are showing the most interest and the bid is narrowing to practically a three-way competition.

The paper forecasts that two Brazilian firms will partner with the Korean and Japanese consortiums.
