Sec. Clinton to Visit 4 Asian Nations

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has begun her tour of four Asian countries, including South Korea and Vietnam.

Clinton will attend an international meeting in Kabul, Afghanistan, early next week to confirm support for the Afghan government. She will then make a stop in Pakistan and discuss collaboration on the war in Afghanistan.

Afterwards, the secretary will attend a bilateral meeting of foreign and defense ministers in Seoul Wednesday. She plans to focus on coordination of inter-Korean policy related to the March 26th sinking of the South Korean warship Cheonan.

A Seoul-led investigation into the sinking implicated North Korea as the culprit.

She will then attend an ASEAN security forum in Hanoi, Vietnam, Friday.
