An event celebrating the ties between South Korea and China will be held in China’s Jilin Province and Inner Mongolia for four days starting Monday.

The South Korean Embassy in China said it was jointly organizing the event with China’s provincial governments in a bid to promote their bilateral relationship.

Some 100 officials from around 70 economic organizations and corporations will attend the event, including the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the Korea Chamber of Commerce in China, Samsung, LG, SK and CJ.

The embassy said it picked the two regions to promote the advance of Korean firms and organizations into the areas.

The event will begin with a presentation on investment environments and will include a Korean food tasting, a photo exhibition and movie screenings.
