The main opposition Liberty Korea Party(LKP) has decided to boycott all parliamentary activities.

LKP floor leader Kim Sung-tae sent text messages to the party's chairpersons of standing committees Monday afternoon, asking that they put off committee schedules until further notice.

Kim said the decision comes amid a partisan standoff over a number of issues, including a nepotism scandal at a Seoul subway operator.
