South Korean exports fell eleven-point-seven percent from a year ago in September, continuing on-year decline for ten consecutive months.

In its monthly economic assessment report released Friday, the Finance Ministry again confirmed the trend of slowing exports and weak investments.

The government blamed the U.S.-China trade dispute and the sluggish global semiconductor market.

The report also noted that consumer prices fell point-four percent in September despite improved job statistics.
