The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost one-point-42 points, or point-06 percent, on Monday. It ended the day at two-thousand 242-point-17.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose around half a percent, gaining three-point-68 points to close at 692-point-59. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-nine won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-183-point-nine won.
