The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained point-58 points, or point-03 percent, on Friday. It ended the week at one-thousand-725-point-44.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 5-point-31 points, or point-94 percent, to close at 573-point-01. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-six won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-230-point-nine won.
