The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, rising seven-point-72 points, or one-point-03 percent, to close at 759-point-90.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-195-point-eight won.
