The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 15-point-67 points, or point-65 percent, on Tuesday, closing at two-thousand-443-point-58. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-29 points, or point-59 percent, ending at 899-point-46. 

On the foreign exchange, the Korean currency strengthened four-point-five won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-179-point-zero won.
