The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell seven-point-66 points, or point-31 percent, on Wednesday to close at two-thousand-435-point-92.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing three-point-18 points, or point-35 percent, to close at 896-point-28. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-nine won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-176-point-one won.
