The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 29-point-29 points, or one-point-29 percent, on Monday to close at two-thousand-308-point-08.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 27-point-63 points, or three-point-42 percent, to close at 835-point-91.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-three won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-173-point-six won.
