The Cultural Heritage Administration and Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation are kicking off a project from Friday aimed at promoting Korean beauty through royal palaces and the traditional costume hanbok.

The project dubbed "Korea in Fashion" will include photoshoots and films to display the beauty of palaces and hanbok from a fresh new perspective.

For the project, 21 hanbok designs with modern interpretations have been made based on the apparel worn by actual Joseon Dynasty princesses.

The contents can be viewed online on YouTube (www.youtube.com/문화유산방문캠페인). It will also be available on TV broadcasts and social media sites.

Korea in Fashion is part of a larger ongoing campaign to promote Korean cultural heritage to the world and attract tourism.
