North Korean officials reportedly reviewed a draft resolution on the policy goals presented by leader Kim Jong-un during a congress of the ruling Workers' Party.

According to the North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) Tuesday, delegates began to discuss the draft resolution for thoroughly implementing the tasks set forth in the report on the work of the Party Central Committee.

The report was made by Kim in earlier sessions of the ongoing eighth party congress, which kicked off a week ago.

The delegates reportedly held consultative meetings on Monday in the fields of agriculture, industry, education, military and munitions.

The KCNA said the meetings discussed substantial issues in implementing the goals and tasks that should be achieved over the next five years.
