Daily COVID-19 cases slipped from the previous day and remained in the 500 range for the third straight day. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Thursday that 524 new cases were reported in the 24 hours to 12 a.m., raising the country's accumulated caseload to 70-thousand-728.

Of the new cases, 496 were domestic infections while 28 were imported.
