Daily COVID-19 cases were in the 400 range for the second day in a row as the third wave of the epidemic continues to ease. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Thursday that 401 new infections were confirmed throughout the previous day, raising the country's accumulated caseload to 73-thousand-918.

Of the new cases, 380 were domestic infections while 21 were imported.
