U.S. President Donald Trump expressed hopes for the new government’s success while also vowing to keep fighting for the American people as he bid farewell to the White House.

In a send-off ceremony held on Wednesday at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, Trump said before a crowd that it was a great honor and privilege to have been their president.

He went on to say that he will always fight for his supporters, adding that he will be watching and listening, while stressing that the future of the U.S. has never looked better.

While wishing the new administration great luck and success, Trump concluded his remarks by pledging to “be back in some form.” Though he failed to elaborate on that concluding remark, Trump is likely to have hinted that he may try to have another go at the presidency in four years.
