"Minari," a film about a Korean immigrant family in search of the American dream in the 1980s, has secured six nominations for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts(BAFTA) awards.

The academy announced on Tuesday that the film by Lee Isaac Chung was nominated in six categories - best film not in the English language, best director, best supporting actress, best supporting actor, best casting and best original score.

The 74th BAFTAs will take place on April 11 without a live audience at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
