The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 18-point-46 points, or zero-point-58 percent, on Friday, closing the week at three-thousand-197-point-20.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eight-point-31 points, or zero-point-86 percent, to close at 978-point-30.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-121-point-three won.
