The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose eight-point-46 points, or zero-point-26 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at three-thousand-224-point-64.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also gained eight-point-98 points, or zero-point-92 percent, to close at 987-point-77.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened zero-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-115-point-eight won.
