The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics came to an end on Sunday after a 13-day run.

The Games wrapped up with a closing ceremony held at Olympic Stadium in Tokyo under the theme "Harmonious Cacophony."

South Korea's flag bearer for the ceremony was Jeong Ho-won, who won gold in boccia on Saturday.

About 44-hundred athletes from 162 countries and a delegation of refugees competed in the Paralympics, which was delayed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Team Korea ranked 41st in the overall medal tally after winning two gold, ten silver and 12 bronze medals. The next Paralympics will be held in Paris in 2024.
