President Moon Jae-in has taken part in a pop-up campaign for the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals(SDG).
Taking to social media on Saturday, Moon said mankind's future hinges on achieving the goals and called for immediate action by the international community.
He said the time has come for a global movement that will drive a better recovery and deliver the 2030 promise.
Moon also shared a photo committing to keep the promise and asked others to join and add their photos.
The South Korean leader will leave for New York on Sunday to attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. On Monday, he will attend the opening ceremony of the Sustainable Development Goals Moment event at the UN, along with members of the K-pop band BTS.
Moon earlier appointed the group as special presidential envoy for future generations and culture.
