The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 12-point-93 points, or zero-point-41 percent on Thursday, closing the day at three-thousand-127-point-58.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing nine-point-86 points, or zero-point-94 percent, to close at one-thousand-36-point-26.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened zero-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-175-point-five won.
