The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 40-point-17 points, or one-point-36 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-921-point-92.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eleven-point-86 points, or one-point-21 percent, to close at 971-point-39.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-187-point-three won.
